Tailbone, hip & low back pain
Tailbone, hip & low back pain
Pain in your tailbone that flares up with sitting. Hip or groin pain that hasn't responded to other treatment. Low back pain that seems connected to something deeper. These areas work closely with your pelvic floor, and when one part isn't cooperating, the rest often feels it.
Why it happens. Your pelvic floor, hips, and low back share muscles, nerves, and movement patterns. Pain in one area can be caused, or worsened, by dysfunction in another, which is why a pelvic floor evaluation is sometimes the missing piece for pain that hasn't resolved with typical hip or back treatment.
What we'll do together. A full-body assessment to see how your hips, low back, and pelvic floor are working together, followed by hands-on treatment and a home program built around what your body needs. Dry needling may be part of your plan if it's a good fit.
A couple of quick questions. Do I need to have pelvic symptoms for this to apply to me? Not necessarily. Hip, tailbone, and low back pain can have a pelvic floor component even without other symptoms. Is dry needling part of every visit? No, only when it fits your plan and with your consent.
