Men's pelvic floor

Men's pelvic floor

Dribbling after urination. Urinary frequency or urgency. Constipation. Erectile dysfunction. Pelvic, low back, hip, or groin pain that hasn't resolved with other treatment. These are common, and they're treatable.

Why it happens. Pelvic floor muscles play a role in bladder, bowel, and sexual function in men just as they do in women. Surgery, radiation, prolonged sitting, and general muscle imbalance can all affect how these muscles work.

What we'll do together. A private, one-on-one evaluation to understand what's going on, followed by hands-on treatment and a home program built around your goals. I also work with patients recovering after prostate cancer treatment.

Is this just for post-surgical patients?
Not at all. I work with men at every stage, whether or not surgery is involved.

Is an internal exam required?
No. It can be a valuable part of assessment for some patients, but it's always your choice.
