Mostly, we talk, and I do a thorough, head-to-toe look at how your body is moving and what you want to get back to. From there, we build a plan together.

You don't need a doctor's referral to start physical therapy. I'm happy to receive doctor's notes or imaging reports if
you have them, but they aren't required. Part of earning a doctorate in physical therapy is being trained to recognize
when you're in the right place, and if I think you'd also benefit from seeing a physician, I'll let you know quickly.
What does it cost, and do you take insurance?
● 60 minutes: $155
● 45 minutes: $125
● 30 minutes: $85
I don't currently accept insurance directly, but I accept HSA and FSA cards, and I'm happy to provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. I'd recommend checking with your insurance company first, since out-of-network benefits vary by plan.

It depends on what's going on and what you're working toward, and I'll give you an honest sense of it after your first visit. A typical course of care is weekly for the first four to six weeks, then we figure out what your body needs from there. Some patients like to come in monthly after that for tune-ups, to check in on their home program and get hands-on treatment to keep their activity level up. My goal is always to give you the tools to keep feeling better on your own.

You may be mildly sore, especially if we did dry needling, typically for 24 to 48 hours. Drinking plenty of water, eating enough protein and fiber, and moving gently afterward all help. Some patients aren't sore at all and just feel better.
